Logs are essential for tracing the activity of a component. This will help to understand the current behaviors or history of the OpenEBS component. MayaOnline support different type of retention period to store the logs of the OpenEBS components based on the plan is activated. MayaOnline provides 7 day of retention period for storing logs for default users.
MayaOnline corrently stores the following logs:-
- Kubelet logs.
maya-systemnamespace component logs.
openebsnamespace component logs.
- Logs based on few labels.
Logs can also be viewed for the required component logs by using the filtering options shown in the page. The available options are as follows:-
- Docker container id.
Admin can check the logs history by clicking on time filter which is on the top right where in admin can go back to specified time period and view the logs accordingly.
The MayaOnline shows last 500 rows of the logs by default. This can be changed on the corresponding log page. For changing the number rows to display, go to the Management icon shows on the center top of the page.
Then go to the Advanced Settings and change the below field. You can provide a maximum of 10000 rows to display the logs.
