MayaOnline is packed with a bunch of opensource components such as Prometheus, Grafana, Scope etc to monitor and troubleshooting of persistent storage provided by OpenEBS for stataeful application in the Kubernetes environment. MayaOnline provides a lot of user supporting features to monitor their stateful workloads across various Kubernetes clusters deployed sometimes across different cloud providers with graphical representation.
MayaOnline offers comprehensive and granular analytics for OpenEBS clusters. The analytics are front ended by the popular Grafana dashboard application, users can use Grafana API when customization is needed.
With the integration of Scope, Topology view will provide the overall connectivity of Kubernetes resources including OpenEBS components of your cluster. This will show the connectivity of each components in the cluster and it helps to correct with necessary actions if any wrong configuration is observed. From this view, OpenEBS components health status and connectivity with other components can be observed.
Smart alerts are key to having efficient operations. A hosted version of Prometheus Alertmanager is made available to each user of MayaOnline. A number of pre-defined alerts will help with basic OpenEBS volume and storage status. Users can configure custom alerts using Prometheus Alertmanager. The latest alerts available are related to Cluster connect/disconnect,volume health and Volume unreachability.
Each user of MayaOnline will get instantaneous notification of OpenEBS cluster with the help of MuleBot once he configured slack channel. Users can also interact with the MuleBot to query the status of their OpenEBS clusters. With MayaOnline, the data management operations are made easy and efficient.
Logs are essential for tracing the activity of each components. This will help to understand the current behaviors or history of the component. MayaOnline supports different type of retention period to store the logs based on the plan. Logs of a Pod can be viewed instantaneously or this can be viewed based on the retention policy you have selected as per the plan.
Monitoring of OpenEBS volumes can be view with graphical representation in your MayaOnline dashboard. The granular details of all OpenEBS volume in the cluster can be visible from single page with graphical representation of capacity, IOPS and throughput. MayOnline provides the view of OpenEBS volumes across different cloud providers. With the help of Multi cloud dashboard, it gives the aggregate storage capacity and throughput of all OpenEBS volume in the cluster and all each OpenEBS volumes can be individually analyzed with the help of separate Graphana dashboard configured.
